Nursing home owner arrested on cruelty accusation

KISSEL | Metro editor For a time this week, it looked like the people who run the Baton Rouge bus system were poised to pay two people CEO-level salaries, and members of the Metro Council are not happy about that at all. A handful of them are questioning whether many on the CATS board should be replaced. The Metro Council is also tackling whether the parish should crack down on homelsss camps in public places.
