Central Carolina Community Foundation distributes grants

The foundation has distributed $19,500 to 10 area nonprofits through its Beyond the Table initiative. The grants fund projects that address issues identified as community priorities during the foundation’s On the Table survey.

In the company’s Q4 earnings call, Boeing President and CEO David Calhoun said the company was plagued by a historically challenging year. He added that production of 787 Dreamliners will transition to North Charleston by March.

Study: $SC Housing generated $760 million economic impact

A study from the agency and the Darla Moore School of Business analyzed $461 million in resources deployed by SC Housing in the past fiscal year. The study found SC Housing supported the equivalent of 4,157 full-time jobs.

Cottontown Art Crawl set for March 13

The third annual event, to be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., will feature 82 local artists selling their work at 40 outdoor neighborhood locations. Social distancing and masks will be required.
