If you’re like us, planning your travel for the new year means visiting as many incredible golf destinations as possible. As I plan out my 2024, I decided to list the places I’m most hoping to visit.

My bucket list of courses ranges from attainable public options to the best new and private venues in the world.

This is such an exciting time in golf course development. For the first time since the economic crisis in 2009, new courses outpace closed facilities.

As one of the editors of our course rankings, I'm blessed to be given opportunities like I was last month, getting to play one of the first rounds at the new Karoo course at Cabot Citrus Farms. The second course at the old World Woods, the Roost, is set to open in the spring, and that should be on everyone's short list.

Here are the other courses on my bucket list for 2024, and why they should be on yours, too.
