It’s senior fashion editor Nayiri Mampourian here. As I begin to stow away the summer pieces I lived in all season (see ya, house dress), I’m channeling all my energy into finding fall wardrobe staples that fit my timeless, simple style.

Because I live for a neutral color palette and I have a soft spot for always revamping my classics capsule wardrobe, I’ve recently been frequenting Banana Republic to find key pieces I know I’ll wear for the rest of the season. From a lightweight chocolate-colored cardigan I’ve already purchased to the wide-leg soft pants that are replacing my "going out" sweats, these are the pieces I'm buying to update my wardrobe.
