NATIONAL: Apple is hosting its third online event in the past three months for the launch of the MacOS Big Sur. Dubbed "One More Thing," the event will be livestreamed via Apple’s website and YouTube channel Nov. 10.

DALLAS/FORT WORTH: Central Market is hosting an online virtual wine- and cheese-tasting class Nov. 12. Tickets include an ingredient kit for up to four people that offers five kinds of cheese and three bottles of wine, plus crackers, dried fruits, and nuts. At the livestreamed event, attendees will explore the art of pairing while tasting curated wine and cheese duos.

NEW YORK: Jones Beach State Park is hosting the Magic of Lights drive-thru experience Nov. 13 to Jan. 2. Festivities will include more than 240 feet of lights, a Toyota-sponsored "mega tree," and holiday music.

The Bronx Zoo's holiday lights display is returning from Nov. 20 to Jan. 10. The holiday tradition, billed as the largest yet, will feature a total of five lantern safaris throughout the zoo, along with ice-carving demonstrations, costumed characters, stilt walkers, and festive treats.

SAN DIEGO: The 34th Annual San Diego Veterans Parade has been canceled due to COVID-19, and in its place, the Veterans Museum is livestreaming a ceremonial celebration Nov. 11 featuring special appearances from crowd favorites of parades past. Those interested can register to virtually attend the event, enroll to participate in the ceremony, or volunteer to help the museum put on the production.
