This vision marks a strategic shift in our approach, recognising that cities and municipalities can be powerful catalysts for social innovation. By building a network of committed local leaders, we aim to create the momentum needed for larger-scale implementation of basic income across Europe. | Mayors for UBI Campaign Ready to Take Off |
| Our new "Mayors for UBI" campaign will work directly with municipal leaders who understand their communities' needs and are ready to pioneer solutions for economic security. Drawing inspiration from initiatives like the US Mayors for a Guaranteed Income network, we're creating a movement that connects local action to European-wide change. Key campaign elements include: Creation of a dedicated website Development of resources and toolkits for local activists Building networks between supportive municipalities Working toward establishing an EU fund for local pilots Want to get involved?
