Do you call it a couch? Or a sofa?
Either way, shopping for one is on my weekend to-do list. A decade of kids and cats took a toll on the current one. It’s still comfy, but lookin’ sad.
It’s been a busy week of scams, scooters and cauliflower ice cream.
I’m definitely a cat person, but those golden doodle puppies are adorable. Unfortunately, scammers know it. A local woman shared her experience in buying (or so she thought) a puppy online. In the end, the website was a fake and her lost money was very real. She hopes her story serves to warn others.

Heads up on scooter rules. At the end of this month, it will no longer be legal in SA to ride one of those electric scooters on the sidewalk. If you ride one, please be careful. SAFD tells me they’ve responded to 173 accidents since September and took more than 100 people to the hospital. And, those are just the accidents where help was even called. You know there were plenty more skinned knees and bruised egos.

Important news for parents of infants—Fisher-Price recalled more inclined sleep products. This time it's the sleeper that comes as an accessory with one of its play yards. There’s a lot of concern about the safety of these types of sleepers and the American Academy of Pediatrics and consumer advocates want them banned. Stay tuned, we’ll be following this.
