Hello consumeristas, Have you received a text message that appears to be from FedEx – telling you about a package for pickup? My husband did, too. Unfortunately, it’s the latest scam going around – so verify before you click on any links that lead to trouble. We have a little more information about that here. 12-On-Your-Side is all about saving you money. So, have you cut the cord? It really can be a good way to shave that TV bill, but it’s not a big saver for everyone. Some people may be better off sticking with cable or satellite. It all depends on which and how many streaming services you want to subscribe to. There are some websites that can help you sort out what services will work best for you. I used suppose.tv, but there are others you can Google. This could be the most expensive Super Bowl ever with ticket prices soaring TVs aside, the retail industry is expecting some serious spending on bowl-watching parties. They expect consumers to spend $17.2 billion on food, beverages and other party stuff. That’s a lot of beer and wings!
