SAN ANTONIO – It’s the most wonderful time of the year y’all! The holidays can be a special time, but also a time of hustle, bustle, and stress. My girls are home from college for a big break, so I’m looking forward to spending time together and picking up their dishes out of their bedrooms. Why kids shouldn’t wear puffy coats in car seats Now to consumer business -- good news in the battle against all those pesky robocalls! The Senate approved the Traced Act, a bill that requires phone companies to offer free call-blocking tools and to verify that the number calling you is real. Phone companies have been working on this, but this potentially speeds things up. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of the calls that appear to be local but are just spoofed calls from somebody wanting to get my information. Honestly, I don’t even answer a call unless I know who’s calling. The President is expected to sign it. While it should help, don’t expect the calls to end overnight. I hope you’ve wrapped up any holiday shopping. I’m betting the stores will be just a wee bit busy this weekend. On the bright side, discounts should be increasing. By the way, my favorite color is yellow. And green. And blue. What makes the perfect pillow? Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and I wish you a safe, healthy, and joy-filled New Year!
