Where's Johnny Jet?

Greetings from New York City! If you're following me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and/or Periscope, you know that I arrived in the Big Apple late last night. I’m here for a baby shower that my sisters are throwing for Natalie this weekend.

10 reasons to have a baby shower at Mall of America
Speaking of baby showers…it’s been a busy week. After I sent last Wednesday’s newsletter from Connecticut, I flew to Bloomington, Minnesota! Bloomington is not only home to MSP airport but Mall of America! And that’s where Natalie had possibly the first ever destination baby shower! Here are our 10 reasons to have a baby shower at Mall of America!

Toronto to California
>From Minnesota, we flew two hours to Toronto. It’s normally only a 90-minute ride but we had to go the long way around thanks to thunderstorms. I’m okay with taking the long way if it avoids severe turbulence but it’s a good reminder for those scheduling tight connections in the summer. In Toronto, we spent the three days packing up Natalie’s place since it will be the last time she’s there for a while. The countdown is on as the baby is due in just over two months! Everyone says my life is going to change in ways I can’t even begin to imagine and I’m ready for this exciting change!

12 things to know before you travel to Europe
I will be slowing my travels down significantly over the next several months but I will still have a trip here and there. The good news is that besides nesting with Natalie, I can finally catch up on all my stories and updating some evergreen material including this story: 12 Things to Know Before You Travel to Europe. I wrote it a year or two ago but the information is still relevant so if you or someone you know is traveling to Europe, send them this story. It should help them have a much better trip!

Scottevest: Great travel clothing, as usual
Be sure to check out our sponsor’s clothing line! I’m sure you (or your favorite traveler) will love their multiple hidden pockets, which not only keep valuables safe but can also act as an extra carry-on! I'm a huge fan and use their products every time I travel. Here’s the link to their innovative website.
