Dec. 17, 2019 Brr! Below-zero lows across Minnesota Wednesday morning. Another cold front sweeps through the state Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Lows tonight into tomorrow morning will be around 5 below zero in the Twin Cities metro area, 20 to 25 below zero north and near zero southwest. Starting Thursday, we’ll start to warm, with much of the state reaching the 30s by Saturday. House is voting on impeachment tomorrow; here’s a look back at how Congress got to this point. Minneapolis passed a similar ban in November, as have more than a dozen states. Wage inequality has increased in the Twin Cities for 40 years, but not as much as expected. While almost every metro area in the U.S. has seen increasingly bigger wage gaps since 1980, MinnPost reports, the increase in the Twin Cities has been relatively mild, ranking 100th among 196 large metros in terms of inequality.
