| Dec. 17, 2019 Brr! Below-zero lows across Minnesota Wednesday morning. Another cold front sweeps through the state Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Lows tonight into tomorrow morning will be around 5 below zero in the Twin Cities metro area, 20 to 25 below zero north and near zero southwest. Starting Thursday, we’ll start to warm, with much of the state reaching the 30s by Saturday. House is voting on impeachment tomorrow; here’s a look back at how Congress got to this point. The House is expected to vote Wednesday on two articles of impeachment against President Trump. From the Mueller report to the Ukraine call to the whistleblower, here’s a look at how we got here. Duluth bans “conversion therapy” for minors. The controversial practice aims at changing people who feel same-sex attractions or nontraditional gender identity. Minneapolis passed a similar ban in November, as have more than a dozen states. Wage inequality has increased in the Twin Cities for 40 years, but not as much as expected. While almost every metro area in the U.S. has seen increasingly bigger wage gaps since 1980, MinnPost reports, the increase in the Twin Cities has been relatively mild, ranking 100th among 196 large metros in terms of inequality.
