Australians are paying a high price for exceeding their data limits and have blown $152.6 million on excess data charges over the past 12 months, according to new research.

IT companies have been advised to hang on to their staff in the new year, with the Australian Information Industry Association warning that attrition rates will stay high unless firms take steps to retain their employees.
