Huge Anzac Day concert, the influence of Soulwax and try your luck in our quiz
While I'm sure the all-star cast will fill our hearts with beautiful music across the night, there are three key things I am looking forward to finding out.
1. What the hell is Kevin Parker going to do?
2. What does Shane Howard's house look like?
3. Is Marlon Williams gonna sell heaps of records after mainstream Australia hears that voice?
The way artists have invited us into their homes to perform for us while in isolation is not a gesture we should forget.
These streams – which rarely make the artist a single cent – are testament to both the generosity of artists, and the compulsion that so many have to simply create, no matter where they are.
It feels like maybe that light at the end of the tunnel is approaching a little quicker than first thought.
If we do get out of this soon (or even if we don't), please don't forget that generosity. And please reciprocate it where you can.
