🫧 Washing Thanksgiving Dishes the Easy Way |
Dreading the enormous pile of dirty dishes tomorrow after your Thanksgiving meal? |
There’s good news. Citing research by The Good Housekeeping Institute, Clark says that you shouldn’t pre-rinse your dishes at all before loading them into your dishwasher. |
“It’s clear as could be,” Clark says. “The reality is dishwashers clean your stuff better when you don’t pre-rinse it.” |
The study tested 17 dishwasher models over a period of 374 hours with the dirtiest dishes with zero pre-rinsing. |
But the Washington Post found that many people just don’t believe the evidence – or that it even “provoked a visceral response.” |
