1Password 7, 1Password Business, and 1Password X

Hello everyone,

It's great to be writing to you again! I missed talking with you my friends. 🤗

Since Sara wrote to you in December, our Christmas food drive was a huge success and we were able to hand out some huge cheques totalling $50,000 to local food banks.

During this time we made some amazing progress on 1Password, resulting in four fantastic launches over the last four weeks!

1Password 7 betas

I'm tickled pink to be able to write these words: 1Password 7 is now available in beta! 🎉 👏 🎊

Last month we launched betas of 1Password 7 for Mac and 1Password 7 for Windows. I can't even begin to describe how awesome these are so please jump over to the announcement posts to learn more:

I'm incredibly excited about 1Password 7 and can't wait to see the official launches later this year.

1Password Business

Long time readers will remember I introduced 1Password Teams way back in 2015. The response has been incredible and we now have over 30,000 companies using 1Password.

Today I'm thrilled to announce the next step on our journey:

Introducing 1Password Business

Practicing safe passwords starts at home so 1Password Business includes a free 1Password Families account for everyone on your team. It's also a nice bonus for you to introduce your company to 1Password. 🙂

If you need any help or would like to set up a demo for your company, please let me know and we'll be happy to help. After using 1Password for a few weeks at your company I promise you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!

1Password X

1Password X is an entirely new way to experience 1Password in your browser. It's a place for us to experiment with what's possible and has quickly become my favourite way to use 1Password.

I didn't have a chance to tell you about 1Password X back in November when it debuted, so I'd like to fix that now:

Since then we've had several updates with tons of improvements and new features. The most recent launched last month:

And with that we're up to number four. Whew! Four announcements in one month was an exhilarating thing to experience to say the least and explains why I wasn't able to write to you lately. 🙂
