Dear Popbitches,

Well, what a few days it's been.

At the end of Thursday, when we sent out the two Brexit newsletters, we tweeted that the "Leave" issue had 4% more shares than  "Remain". 

We put this down to your interest in Michael Gove's sex talk, but weirdly it actually predicted the result of the referendum. 

If we'd known that then we could have put all our money on the Brexit result, but failing to do that, well, we're asking for your help again.

We started a Popbitch Pledge Drive in December last year. So many of you were so nice to us. The tech and legal fund you helped us build got us through some, ahem, challenging months, and kept Popbitch rolling out every week.

But out of the blue we've hit rather an unexpected problem with our mailing system. 

If we want to send out the same unadulterated, uncensored stream of gossipy nonsense every Thursday we need to a new email system. We've been using the same one for ages but we can't any more.

It's not anybody's fault... it just turns out we need a provider who is able to take - well, let's just say, a more Popbitch view of the world...

Otherwise we've got some real issues about what we can, and can't, include in Popbitch, and we don't want to start having to self-censor.

So we're today launching a summer mini-pledge drive to raise £5,000 to get this sorted.

A contribution to us of even £3/$5 would do wonders. A tenner would be absolutely amazing. 

Our post-Brexit currency may be on the skids, but we promise to find a very good home for it.
