Hey,

I hope you've had a great weekend and are feeling recharged and ready to get after it this week!

Today, I want to give you two quick tips to help you accomplish more while working less so you can make time for all the things that matter most this week.

(Note: Both of these tips are from my new book The Perfect Week Formula. Be sure to grab your free copy if you want more strategies like these).

1. "Inverted" Planning

If you're anything like the other entrepreneurs I work with, you probably start your weekly planning by scheduling all of your meetings, sales calls, interviews, and other "urgent" work obligations.

But here's the problem...

This type of planning, by default, causes you to build your life around your business and makes it all too easy to fall into the traps of busy work and inefficiency.

Instead, you must 'invert' your planning and schedule all of your non-work activities and non-negotiables first.

Things like date night, workouts, massages, family dinners, hikes, and even reading time should all be scheduled in your calendar before you pencil in a single "magic time" block or appointment.

By doing this, you'll be forced to get creative and automate, delegate, or eliminate (more on that in a second) all of the extra "stuff" in your work week that you don't need to be doing.

Just try it for one week.

I promise, you'll have more fun and free time than ever before.

2. Cut Open the Potato Sack

If you constantly feel like you're behind on your priorities and, no matter how hard you try, you can't seem to control your schedule and effectively balance your life, the reason is simple:

You're doing too many things!

Or as I like to say...you're putting 10 lbs. of potatoes in a 5 lbs. sack.

The solution?

You need to cut open the potato sack and identify all of the distractions, temptations, and obligations that are getting in the way of your big vision.

Things like uploading your own Instagram stories, book keeping, writing all of your copy and content, doing podcast interviews on small shows...

...To make time for what matters most, you must start by subtracting the things that matter the least or that you can easily pay someone else to do.

I know this is a tall order for a laid back Sunday afternoon, so my challenge for you today is simple.

Find ONE task that you do not need to be doing yourself.

Whether it's cutting the lawn, cooking your own meals, responding to your own emails, or uploading your own content.

Pick just one thing and find someone else to do it this week.

You'll be amazed by how quickly you can grow your business while having more freedom when you stop trying to do everything yourself and ask for help.

That's it for today.

I hope these tips were helpful.

Test them out for yourself and be sure to hit 'reply' and let me know how it goes.

To Your Success,
