This year, we rallied Tassie to knit together and create hundreds of blankets to donate to people without warm shelter or clothing for Rug Up Tassie.

To be a part of this special appeal you just needed to knit 20cm wool squares – as many as you could! Then, they were dropped off to us for volunteers to join into blankets.

Thanks to all of your donations the total number has reached over
20,000 squares!

This will make over 800 blankets that the ABC will donate to trusted charities who help our fellow Tasmanians over winter.
