Bitcoin price yet again continues to yo-yo above and below the magnetic $20,000 level, inching upwards above $20,200 Friday.

Top-20 altcoins have popped upward, as Ethereum jumps 6%, BNB rises 3% and Uniswap leads with a 10% advance.

An online panel from the German Blockchain Association has broken down the details of the upcoming Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation – with the final legal text of the regulations set to be released in October.

The MiCA regulation is designed to cover all EU member states, also covering the licensing and operations of crypto-related firms.

NFTs and stablecoins have still not been covered by the regulation so far, however crypto asset service providers (referred to as CASPs) are covered closely.

Asset management giant BlockRock has selected Kraken's CF Benchmarks bitcoin index to power pricing on its first BTC product offering. CF Benchmarks indexes are already used across the world, by clients such as Wintermute in Europe and Hashdex in Brazil.

BlackRock also previously announced a deal with Coinbase to provide institutional investors with access to crypto, later launching a private trust to offer spot Bitcoin exposure.

Decentralized NFT marketplace Sudoswap has announced the launch of a governance token, SUDO, with an airdrop going to users on Ethereum.

A majority of the tokens will be distributed to holders of the team's previous NFT project token, XMON, while liquidity providers will also retroactively receive a portion of the token supply.
