This medium amber rosé (100% Merlot) begins with a beautifully reductive nose of wet stone, gunpowder flint, oregano, and dried apricot. After a few minutes, the wine opens to sweeter, riper notes of peaches, mandarin, and hints of bell pepper and jalapeño. The mouthfeel is extremely round and juicy, with stone fruit, orange blossom, and bright acidity. This energetic wine finishes with phenomenal volume and length, remaining juicy, almost crunchy, until the end. Drink now or in the next 3 years.
