Lockdown lessons

We still — you know, five days into the new year — have resolutions on the brain, with our roundup of 20 from Baltimore tech and innovation leaders. Check it out below.

At the same time, COVID numbers are on the rise. Both have us wondering: If Baltimore were to shut down again and you got another shot at the early-2020 lockdown, what pandemic skill would you learn? Would you actually write that book? Bake that bread? Now that we're here with 2020 hindsight, what are some ways you'd go about that extra time and work grace differently? As always, reply here or email baltimore@technical.ly to let us know.

Also, tomorrow is the anniversary of the Capitol insurrection, when a mob of Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol. At the time, we covered a lot of different aspects in the aftermath: why companies halted campaign donations, why some were not surprised by the event and how to talk to your team about it. One year later, it's still a day that won't be forgotten.
