December 17, 2020 Greetings! Yesterday was a gorgeous day in Los Angeles so my wife and I took the kids to the beach so they could run around for an hour. There was practically no one around and I could only count 20 people for as far as my eyes could see, so it was probably the safest place to be in L.A. besides our house.
While on the beach, we FaceTimed a few friends and family members back East and they were so jealous of our weather. Meanwhile, we were envious of their weather since they were getting a huge snowstorm ... just in time for Christmas next week! Growing up in Connecticut, there was nothing better than being in a huge storm ... as long as you didn’t have to travel and you had warm, dry clothes and electricity. But after a couple of days of the cold, the novelty does wear off so I’m happy to be in L.A. And we do have cold, snowy mountains just 90 minutes away.
