2022 CDI Week Kick-off: Industry overview survey published

The Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS) is proud to sponsor the 12th annual Clinical Documentation Integrity Week. Every year we spend a week celebrating CDI professionals and all they do for the healthcare industry. We also recognize others who contribute to the efforts for documentation improvement, including providers and HIM/coding professionals. This year our theme is Under the Sea-DI as we dive into the depths of all that CDI efforts can accomplish. To help you celebrate, ACDIS has made the following resources available for your use during the week:

ACDIS celebrates CDI professionals annually with a full week of recognition for the profession through activities, education, and fun. This year’s CDI Week theme is Under the Sea-DI, celebrating all the often unseen and underappreciated work CDI professionals do for the benefit of their organizations. Each year leading up to CDI Week, ACDIS conducts a survey to gain insight into the state of the industry. This year’s survey included questions about productivity, staff engagement in the remote setting, provider engagement, outpatient CDI, and denial trends and CDI involvement.
