| Hi Achternaam, I can’t believe it is 2022. For our family 2021 was the 'year of the move'. We crossed the nation for a new life in Tennessee. The move is complete and 2022 is looking like the year of new beginnings or new preparation. Moving our little homestead from the dry Colorado high desert to the wet smoky mountains has been a crazy and beautiful decision! We love it here.
Preparation for next spring has begun. A greenhouse is in the works, septic systems going in, wells being dug, house planning, coop and barn ideas floating around, gardens being readied for work next spring. And that means.... not a lot of canning going on in my house! But I'll leave you with some projects that I'm usually working on this time of year.
