Standings Update

After a dominant win against Winter Garden, the Leesburg Lightning have moved into first place in the Florida League Standings, sending the Sanford River Rats into second. The Lightning have gone 8-2 in their last 10 games, setting them up for a 17-9 overall record.

Congratulations to Florida League Alumni and former Sanford River Rat, Dylan Crews, who was drafted #2 overall in the 2023 MLB Draft to the Washington Nationals. Crews makes Florida League history as the highest draft pick the Florida League has ever had.
