Comprising of about 8,000 different life-size statues, the Terracotta Army is part of the worldâs largest ancient imperial tomb complex and is the largest of its kind. Explore the fascinating site which boasts soldiers, chariots and horses, each with their own precise detail â hair, facial, expressions and armour, no two statues are alike. Later, youâll enjoy a leisurely walk along the monumental ancient walls of the Fortifications of Xiâan.

South Koreaâs largest island is the home of the scenic Hallasan National Park, dominated by the Hallasan volcano. The Haenyeo - female divers - harvest oysters, abalone, clams, seaweed and other marine life and the islandâs history and its proud fishing and marine heritage is showcased at the Haenyeo museum.

Incheon (Seoul - Overnight in Port)

Incheon city is a metropolitan city near Seoul. The city played an important role in the countryâs history, particularly during the Korean War, which is depicted throughout its numerous memorials â the most notable of which is the General MacArthur monument in Jayu Park. Enjoy a walk over rolling hills and admire the kaleidoscope of seasonal colours, peppered across the landscape. Or escape to the spectacular city of Seoul and admire the spellbinding Bongeunsa Temple, constructed in 794. Here youâll find over 3000 Buddhist scriptures of 13 types, the 32-metre-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha, and stunning woodblock carvings of the Avatamsaka Sutra.

Busan

Nestled on the coast of South Korea, Busan is known for its sprawling golden beaches, magnificent mountains and opulent temples. Itâs frequently regarded as the core of South Korea and boasts a unique atmosphere, showcasing its ethnic and cultural diversity. Explore the âMachu Picchu of Busanâ with a visit to the enthralling Gamcheon Culture Village. For relaxation, head to Haeundae Beach, or discover the Haedong Yonggung Temple, a picturesque fortress clinging to cliff overlooking the ocean.

Fukuoka

Fukuoka is the biggest city in Kyushu, and a rising star in Japanese tourism. Fukuoka has transformed itself over the last decade into one of Japanâs most cosmopolitan and internationalised cities. Its attractions are contemporary rather than traditional, but they are still very much worth seeing, its modern architecture in particular. Visit the Dazaifu Tenmanguu Shrine, probably the most famous tourist attractions in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Nagasaki

Nagasaki is a beautiful city, set on a plain between the active harbour and a backdrop of stunning mountains. Nagasaki has one of Japanâs most complex histories due to the influences of the Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese; all of which can be seen around this vibrant, bustling city. Head to the Nagasaki Peace Park to seek out the breathtaking Peace Statue which holds special significance to the devastating tragedy of 1945. Or discover the tranquillity of Confuciusâs Shrine. Wander the small garden, admire the ornate Chinese-style buildings and marvel at the 72 sages, life-size stone statues that depict Confuciusâ disciples.

Kagoshima

This friendly city lies at the top of the Satsuma Peninsula, a mountainous, geothermal wonderland of hot springs and geysers. Kagoshima is often described as a Japanese version of Naples with a warm and sunny climate and its very own active volcano that towers over the city. This striking city also boasts a number of gardens and parks where you can see spectacular cherry blossom, including Yoshino Park with over 800 cherry trees and the riverside with over 500 cherry trees lining the banks of the Kotsukigawa River.
