Happy New Year!

I believe this year will be the start of a historic economic boom — and I’m not alone.

According to Fortune magazine…

The CEO’s of America’s largest companies are overwhelmingly optimistic about the economy going into 2025.”

This is good news for you.

When the big guys are doing well, us medium and small guys do well too.

More importantly…

OPTIMISM is the secret sauce that separates entrepreneurs who get rich… from those who stay small because of their scarcity thinking.

Unfortunately, some of my friends are pessimistic doomers.

They’re great people and I love them…

But I let their voices in my head a little too much in 2020 and 2023.

When the noise and negativity got too loud earlier this year, I completely cut out the news and shifted away from the negative content I was consuming.

Living in and being surrounded by negativity is a losing proposition.

Your inputs = your outputs.

That’s why I choose optimism.

And it’s why I’ve been replacing the few sources of negativity I had allowed into my life with the positive outlooks of super smart, successful people like Dr. Joe Dispenza and Dr. Peter Diamandis.

If you went through my 2025 Vision Training you learned that Dr. Peter Diamandis is a connection I’d like to make this year.

I met Dr. Diamandis briefly in 2009 in Las Vegas…

Minutes before going on a ZeroG flight out of the Las Vegas airport (cool experience if you get the chance).

Diamandis is the founder of the X-Prize (a financially incentivized competition that seeks to spur “radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity”)...

And a huge conference called Abundance 360.

He’s also the author of Bold, an optimistic book about the future for entrepreneurs (and which I highly recommend).

Below is a newsletter from Dr. Diamandis that will boost your optimism…

And help you think bigger and bolder in 2025:

3 Practical Tips to Think Bigger

By Dr. Peter Diamandis

1. Cultivate an Abundance Mindset

We're living in an era of unprecedented opportunity.

Yet most people remain trapped in scarcity thinking, fighting over pieces of an imaginary fixed pie.

Here's how to shift your perspective:

Stop asking "Can I afford this?"

Start asking "How can I leverage this?"

Instead of hoarding resources, focus on creating new ones.

Remember:

In today's hyperconnected world, your network is your net worth

Practice generous leadership—share knowledge, mentor others, contribute freely.

Focus on 10x or 100x value creation, not just capturing existing value.

This mindset shift alone can reveal opportunities that are invisible to others.

 2. Master Exponential Thinking to Achieve Scale

Linear thinking is a dead end in our exponential world.

Here's your new framework:

Target 10x (1,000%) improvements, not incremental 10% gains.

Map how converging technologies (AI, Robotics, Biotech) can amplify your impact.

Set goals that seem audacious today but inevitable tomorrow.

Embrace rapid learning—the faster you learn, the faster you innovate.

Remember: You're not just predicting the future—you're creating it.

3. Embrace a Moonshot Mindset

This is where true transformation happens.

A Moonshot Mindset means reimagining entire systems to solve global grand challenges.

Key principles:

Start with your Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP)—it'll fuel you through the decade-long journey.

Focus on problems affecting billions.

Pursue radical, not incremental, solutions.

Build diverse teams—breakthroughs happen at the intersection of disciplines.

Think in 10-, 20-, even 50-year horizons, but create clear steps from here to there.

Here's the truth:

Buying toys or traditional philanthropy is the old way of "doing good."

But why not use the genius that created your success to solve humanity's biggest challenges?
