click here News Monday, June 15, 2020 24 Hour Fitness filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 15 blaming the COVID-19 pandemic for the filing. Team members will continue to be paid during the Chapter 11 process, and the company will continue to reopen clubs despite permanently closing 100 of its more than 440 clubs last week. read more | | 24 Hour Fitness has been struggling financially since prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, but with clubs being closed temporarily for more than two months, the company recently permanently closed some clubs and laid off staff. read more |
