Welcome to 2020. We are working diligently to make 2020 your best year ever for you and we are getting ready for our 2020 launch in two weeks (more to come on that soon). I wanted to bring you 3 ideas, 2 quotes, and 1 question for the today, 3 IDEAS I. No matter how great your goals are, how well-thought-out they are, you will not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. Your goal is what you want to happen. Your system is the collection of daily habits that will get you there. This year, spend less time focusing on outcomes and more time focusing on the habits that precede the results. II. Your identity can hold you back: -I'm terrible with directions. -I have a sweet tooth. -I'm bad at math. ...or build you up: -I'm the type of person who doesn't miss workouts. -I finish what I start. -I read every day. Build habits that reinforce your desired identity. III. For my final thought, another idea around time management: Time magnifies the margin between success and failure. It will multiply whatever you feed it. Good habits make time your ally. Bad habits make time your enemy. 2 QUOTES FROM OTHERS I. “In a world where information is freely available, focus becomes one of the most valuable commodities in the workplace.” ― Michael Hyatt, Free to Focus II. “So as a leader, the best way to ensure that everyone arrives at the campsite is to tell them where to go, not how to get there. Give them clear coordinates and let them figure it out.” ― Marc Randolph, That Will Never Work 1 QUESTION FOR YOU What is your number one goal for the next month or first quarter? I would love to hear what your goal(s) is so that we can help you get there in 2020. Until next time, Danny Schard P.S. Let’s dream big this year. Don't forget to send me your goal(s). |
