2. Coronavirusâ Impact on Paid Sick Leave Citing the crisis, a new legislative push for paid sick has been introduced by Democrats in both the House and the Senate. This bill would mandate all employers to let workers accrue 7 days of paid sick leave and immediately provide an additional 14 days when there is a public health emergency.
3. #MeToo and Mandatory Sexual Harassment Prevention⯠The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements have thrust sexual harassment and prevention into the spotlight. Many state and local governments are requiring businesses to address this issue with increased training and requiring businesses to post notices regarding their rights and responsibilities regarding harassment.
