Midterm elections… relentless inflation… impending recession… and Elon’s Twitter takeover…

Right now there’s a LOT to be distracted by.

If you’re having a tough time staying focused, maybe even feeling overwhelmed — don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Plenty of people are noticing more distractions than ever before.

But it doesn’t have to slow YOU down.

There’s a simple 3-step formula I teach my clients to stay laser focused and hyperproductive…

No matter what drama or curveballs come their way.

Here’s how you can use it too…

As you close out your work day grab a pen and paper for a quick session of:

Brain Dump > Priority To-Do List > Process Planning

When you follow the easy steps below this should take no more than 25 minutes (I’m usually done in 10-15)... but it will save you HOURS of wasted, unproductive time.

1. Brain Dump

Get everything that’s on your mind, both personal and professional, out of your head and down on paper.

If something doesn’t really need to be done, mentally release the task and let it go.

If it does need to happen, write next to it when it will be done and who will do it (you or someone else).

Just doing this step alone will give you instant relief and help you sleep better.

2. Priority To-Do List

Now take any items from your brain dump that must be done the next day…

Add in your non-negotiables like date night, a workout, reading time, etc. ...

Then number each task from most to least important.

Use this to create tomorrow’s schedule inside whatever calendar system you use.

Just make sure the first thing you tackle each day is the #1 thing you can do to reach your goals in business and life.

3. Process Planning

This is where the magic starts to happen…

Figure out small things you can do to make that #1 most important task go a little easier tomorrow.

Have an email or report to write?

Try jotting down bullets to some of the key points.

Project to work on in the AM?

You could have whatever documents or websites you’ll need already open and ready on your computer.

The point is to reduce friction and make transitioning to these tasks as quick and seamless as possible.

---

Formulating a clear plan for each day the night before…

Gives you a critical roadmap to keep winning and moving forward.

As distractions pop up or your day starts going off the rails…

Your plan provides the next checkpoint to get back on track.

Plus, just knowing you’ve addressed all the tasks floating around in your head will instantly decrease stress and overwhelm.

So implement these 3 steps and attack every day with intention...

I promise when you do, you’ll be virtually “indistractable”.

Success Loves Speed,

Craig
