Building a culture of patient safety and care helped Maine Medical Center recently earn its fourth American Nurses Credential Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition®, which recognizes healthcare organizations that provide superior quality in nursing care.

For this week's lead story, I talked with Chief Nursing Officer Devin Carr, DNP, RN, RRT, ACNS-BC, NEA-BC, about three particular areas in which the hospital excelled.
