They choose who they follow, what they listen to and watch, who they pattern themselves after, and who they hangout with! Elite world class performers know how to practice in the “zone” and master at the highest level small chunks of one new skill at a time. In music, this means mastering a 10 sec piece of a song and practicing and correcting it instantly every time until they get it perfect. Deep intentional practice separates the average from the world class.
