A very odd story made the front page of The Canberra Times on this day in 1959. Reports were that a sedan car had been damaged after being struck by none other than a house in State Circle. The car was driven by a John Casey Taylor of Ainslie and had been parked on the side of the road to allow a semi-trailer carrying a house to pass.
