So now you continually plow money into memecoins and diamond-hand them to zero, all because of some misplaced fear that you might miss your moment.

(Mythical stories 🤝 poor decisions).

Yeah, well – we hope you’ve got your self control on-lock, ‘cause we have four of those mythical crypto success/failure stories for you today!

1/ WIN: This trader turned $2.1k into $3.24M over 10 hrs!

This one happened just yesterday! See all those red dots on the chart (👇) that’s the trader taking profit. Smart!

2/ LOSS: This trader sold $PNUT at a $1k loss. Those tokens would go on to be worth $1.6M.

Buys ~$1,900 worth of $PNUT → loses ~$900 worth of value → panic sells → peanut rips → trader misses out on a $1.6M pay day.

3/ WIN: This trader turned $27 into…wait for it…$52M!

Look up ‘Diamond Hands’ in the dictionary and you’ll find this guy's wallet address.

He bought 2.1 trillion $PEPE tokens for $27 and sat on them for two years. As of this writing, he’s still yet to sell.

4/ LOSS: $4.4M profit to a $3.75M loss over a two week period

This trader took out a $25M loan → used it to go long on $BTC → made a paper gain of $4.4M in 4 days → continued to hold → $BTC crashed → and now they’re at a $3.75M unrealized loss.

Offft!

MULTIPLE BITCOIN STRATEGIC RESERVES INCOMING? 👀

You know that hot guy your mom blushes over that recently fell out of favor?

No, not Ryan Seacrest (he’s still got it). We’re talking about Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada.

His political standing has gotten so bad of late that he’s just stepped down as PM – and it’s looking like his conservative counterpart, Pierre Poilievre, is the new favorite to win office.

And Ol’ Pierre is a Bitcoin mega-bull. 👇

All of this is now breathing new life into the “Which countries will create Strategic Bitcoin Reserves?” conversation – so we figured we’d list ‘em out so you can keep an eye on them.

(‘Cause if large nation states start buying/holding Bitcoin, things could get real wild, real fast!).

1/ Canada (duh)

Will this actually happen? Time will tell. Government moves slowly.

But David Bailey – the CEO of BTC Inc / the guy who orange pilled Trump, had this to say:

2/ Russia

The Russian State Duma Deputy Anton Tkachev has proposed the creation of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR) for the nation.

Again, this ain’t set in stone – proposals are a dime a dozen in government. Nevertheless, it’s a good sign!

3/ Brazil

Brazilian congressman, Eros Biondini, proposed establishing a Bitcoin Sovereign Strategic Reserve, known as ResBit, back in late November. 

If passed, the country’s central bank would gradually acquire Bitcoin until $BTC makes up 5% of Brazil’s national reserves. Not bad!

4/ Czech

The Czech National Bank (CNB) Governor, Aleš Michl, is considering Bitcoin for its foreign exchange reserve strategy.

He hasn’t given any details beyond that (the news only broke a few hours ago) – but hey! If anyone is in a place of power to make it happen, it’s him.

Here’s our two cents:

If/when nations begin adopting Bitcoin, our guess would be that it happens slowly, then all at once.

We wouldn't be surprised to see a few smaller countries adopt it before the majors do – but the straw that is going to give the camel irreparable spinal damage is a major nation (like the US) joining the party.

At that point, all bets are off, and the moon boys that have been calling for a $1M Bitcoin could well be proven right.

Steady lads.
