Call for projects – Compass Festival 2020(Deadline: 8 November 2019): The fifth edition of the biennial Compass Festival in November 2020 taking place in Leeds, UK. Compass invites project proposals from artists working in any medium whose practice is based in interactive public participation, co-creating or engagement. The festival has grown in scale and ambition over the first four editions and is characterised by the exploration of communality, community building, place-making and individual experience.
Open call – Environmental Crisis: Art and Science Exhibition(Deadline: 9 December 2019): The call for submissions for the 2nd Art and Science exhibition at Gerald Moore Gallery is now open for pre-existing works that explore the issue of the Environmental Crisis to be exhibited from Feb to March 2020, spanning across British Science week 8-17 March. With the "Climate crisis" in the news and the recent protests led by young people, Gerald Moore Gallery would like to engage with this subject in an exhibition.
