The top 1% of earners saw a 157.3% increase in annual pay between 1979 and 2017, compared with average growth of 40.1%, according to a study by the Economic Policy Institute. Economist Elise Gould says the study reflects growing inequity.

A 42-feet-long Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton -- nicknamed Scotty -- was found by University of Alberta paleontologists in Saskatchewan. Scotty's bones are the largest dinosaur remains found in Canada, as well as the largest T. rex in the entire world.
