| | Hello,
Did you know that MozFest is a community-designed festival? While Mozilla provides a basic structure, resources, and support, the festival is primarily designed and produced by volunteers — teams of educators, activists, engineers, artists, students, and researchers who care about a healthy internet. This year, we want you to be a part of that process! Beginning October 26, we’re looking for engaging, inspiring, and creative session ideas from every corner of the globe that bring us one step closer to a healthy internet and trustworthy AI. |
|
| By hosting an interactive, online session at MozFest in March 2021, you’ll have the opportunity to:- teach people a new approach, skill, or technology related to internet health and trustworthy AI.
- invite new contributors to join your projects and communities.
- push for more trustworthy AI to create new partnerships and collaborations.
- network with funders, media, and others who can help sustain and amplify your work.

At MozFest, you’ll find a personal and supportive community to make sure you succeed as you host your session. Meet Chad, a Program Manager on the MozFest team who’s here to support session Facilitators, Volunteers, and newcomers. Be sure to send him some hello emojis if you run into him online during the festival! |

1. Celebrate with us! All month long, we are celebrating our community on Twitter through polls, memories, people spotlights, and some fun surprises. Follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss the virtual party!
2. Check out the Virtual Art Scene. Socially-engaged art has always played a role at MozFest, as a mode of storytelling and learning, to help us speculate and understand larger issues from many perspectives. We’re proud to partner with seven other organisations with Beyond the Now, a syndicated platform that offers up responses and perspectives on what socially-engaged art looks like in a post-pandemic world.
3. Tweet this: What’s #MozFest, who runs it, and why should you get involved? All of your questions answered here. |
