Quick tip of the day

You step away from your computer for just a minute, and — ugh — your screen is locked. Now, we don’t suggest disabling this altogether. That lock screen is important for keeping your computer secure. But you can adjust it a bit.

  • Head to the Start menu and click Settings.
  • Select System from the Settings menu.
  • Click Power & Sleep.
  • Under Sleep, select your preferred time from the dropdown menu. Choose from 1 minute all the way up to 5 hours.
