Today, as we observe Yom Hashoah and remember the six million Jews lost during the Holocaust, our commitment to security and remembrance is challenged anew. Yesterday, a severe rocket attack by Hamas across the Israel-Gaza border tragically claimed the lives of four young IDF soldiers, aged 18, 19, 19, and 21, and injured at least ten, some critically. This is a tragic update since yesterday.

This attack underscores the difficult times we face. The loss of such young lives on Yom Hashoah deepens the pain of this period in Israel's history. May their memory be a blessing.
