The New York State Nurses Association has voted to affiliate with National Nurses United, adding more than 42,000 nurses to the nation's largest nurses' union. Read here.

Also this week, hospitals, clinics and other care venues are reporting chronic shortages of therapists, imaging and lab techs, and other allied care professionals, according to a new survey from AMN Healthcare. Read here.
