45th Annual National Magazine Awards 

We are delighted that freelance journalist Kelly Boutsalis will host the 45th annual National Magazine Awards live via Zoom (for nominees) and Vimeo (for friends, family and co-workers) on June 3rd, 2022 at 7:00PM ET. We'd love for you to celebrate with us!  

Attention Nominees

If you win a gold award, there are a few ways for you to enjoy your moment in the spotlight:

1) Watch the show live via Zoom

• As a nominee, you can watch the show live on Zoom and if your name is announced as a gold winner, your camera will go live and the stage is yours to accept the award! If you would like to join live, please email us by Wednesday, June 1 at midnight ET to get your UPN (Unique Participant's Name). More information on how to join the Zoom audience is available on our website. 

• All nominees are also invited to email us a pre-recorded acceptance speech. Should you receive a Gold award, your pre-recorded video will be incorporated into our awards show. If you’re planning to send a pre-recorded acceptance speech, please send us your video by Wednesday, June 1 at midnight ET. Videos should be in MP4 or MOV format.

Pay-what-you-can donation

To help bring this year’s celebration to the industry across the country, the Foundation is requesting a pay-what-you-can donation (we suggest $25) in lieu of ticket costs. As a registered charity, donations are vital to the Foundation’s ability to honour this year’s winners and nominees through this virtual gala.
