Kids these days: Woman wants a refund for livestock

When you buy an item and it doesn’t match the product description, returning it is the sensible option. But what happens when the thing you bought is a living creature? Well, one woman from Florida is up in arms for what she believes is an act of deception from a goat farmer she purchased three animals from. According to a lawsuit she filed, the five Nigerian dwarf goats she purchased from a neighboring farm last year could not have their paternity verified by a pedigree group. Because of this, she’s doubtful the goats are even dwarf goats in the first place.

As part of her demands, she wants enough DNA samples from the goats’ father to run an accurate paternity test, as well as a refund for money spent. But the defendants, to their credit, claim the woman is obsessed with them and has not only called the police on their farm multiple times but also trespassed to get a closer look at other goats. No matter who’s telling the truth, nobody can doubt that the plaintiff isn’t kidding around!

If she really likes goats that much, perhaps she’d enjoy a trip to San Jose, California.
