Four, seven or 10 nights of all-inclusive, five-star bliss at a golf resort on the sublime sandy shores of Halkidiki - including all travel
Porto Carras Grand Resort occupies some 1,763 hectares of Greece’s stunning coast, with a prime spot on Halkidiki’s central peninsula, right on the Toroneos Gulf. With a whopping nine kilometres of sandy beach, home to 25 gorgeous little coves, this award-winning resort offers everything you could imagine for a relaxing escape. Comprised of two five-star hotels (you’ll be staying at Porto Carras Sithonia), a casino, and two thalassotherapy and spa centres, it doesn’t take long to realise this particular resort has absolutely no idea how to do things by halves.
Activity lovers will delight in the resort’s international-standard 18-hole golf course, whilst animal enthusiasts can muck in at the on-site horse riding academy. Ahoy there all sailors! You’ll find a Nautical Club here too. Diving’s made easy thanks to a dedicated academy and there’s also a tennis club, affording nine match-ready courts. Did we mention Greece’s largest organic vineyard resides here too? Just as well - you’ll need a tipple after all that activity.
There’s plenty on hand for those who prefer to take their holidays at a slower pace too, from serene treatments in the spa to a series of outdoor swimming pools to dip into, plus, of course, the sandy beach itself. All-inclusive guests at Porto Carras Sithonia hotel can enjoy a Mediterranean buffet over breakfast, lunch and dinner, or eat al fresco amidst the swaying palms. There’s a bevy of bars here too, be them by the pool, on the beach or spread over a view-blessed terrace. |
