P&G's Widen the Screen Initiative Invests in Black Talent on Both Sides of the Camera
 

The Widen the Screen initiative from P&G aims to fuel investment in Black-owned media not only by increasing representation on screen, but also by creating opportunities for Black talent behind the camera. The project was introduced by a short film narrated by Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, which debuted during the 2021 NAACP Image Awards this past weekend. “We have to address the systemic inequalities that exist in our industry,” said chief brand officer Marc Pritchard.
