Quick tip of the day

Things are different in a traditional office. People stop by to chat, the intercom buzzes you, and you have a chance to look up from your screen. Not when you’re working at home. You spend eight hours a day (probably more) staring at digital screens.

That’s why you need to know about the 20-20-20 rule.

  • Every 20 minutes, look away from the monitor at something that is 20 feet away for a full 20 seconds. It helps with eye strain and dry eyes. Set a timer using an alarm app.

🌒 Here’s another option: Most operating systems offer Dark Mode. This helps ease strain when you spend a lot of time staring at screens. Here’s how to switch your Google homepage to Dark Mode.
