Entire Productions CEO Natasha Miller will be launching her first book, "Relentless: Homeless Teen to Achieving the Entrepreneur Dream,” during a metaverse-based book launch on March 22, taking place on AllSeated’s ExVo platform. The virtual event will feature thought leaders, entertainment, interactive activities and more. Miller will also celebrate the book with a performance at San Francisco's SFMOMA on March 26, followed by a Champagne reception.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Miami-based livestreaming and webcast company MediaStage has announced two major promotions. Larry Blocker is now the chief operating officer, promoted from general manager, while Michael Alers has been named chief technology officer after previously serving as lead video engineer.

PHILADELPHIA: The Roots and Live Nation Urban are teaming up for the return of Roots Picnic, taking place in-person at Mann at Fairmont Park from June 4-5. The two-day festival will be headlined by Mary J. Blige and The Roots, and the full lineup includes Jazmine Sullivan, Summer Walker, Wizkid and other hip-hop stars. Other highlights will include a dedicated podcast stage as well as various activations surrounding topics like film and social justice. 

SAN FRANCISCO: The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SoMa has reopened after a $70 million renovation and rebranding. Previously known as the Park Central Hotel, the property has 686 guest rooms, along with 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space including 16 function rooms, two ballrooms and several breakout rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows.
