April 8 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.
Picasso is considered one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, and his works have had a significant impact on modern art. His extensive oeuvre encompasses numerous styles, including Cubism, Surrealism and Expressionism.

Although Picasso died in 1973, his influence on the art world remains unbroken to this day. His works are still exhibited in renowned museums and galleries worldwide and continue to fetch high prices on the art market. Picasso was active not only as a painter, but also as a sculptor, graphic artist and ceramist. His versatility and innovative spirit have influenced and inspired numerous artists. His works are timeless and remain current and relevant today.
