NATIONAL:Gaylord Hotels is transforming its five U.S. resorts into winter wonderlands with Winterfest, which runs from Jan. 7 to Feb. 27 at the brand’s properties in Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Colorado and Maryland. Each property will feature winter-themed activities, experiences and performances, including scavenger hunts, escape rooms, art studios, light shows and more.
Trade show company Emerald has acquired MJBiz, the leading event producer in the cannabis industry that’s most known for MJBizCon, a B2B cannabis trade show that drew 1,200 exhibitors and 27,000 attendees to its October 2021 edition. MJBiz management, including CEO Chris Walsh, senior vice president of events and sales Jess Tyler and senior vice president of content and audience development Pam Moore, will continue to lead the day-to-day operations.
