CBS Sports Fantasy Football Today

We all want to draft running backs who can rack up 15 carries a game, catch multiple passes weekly, and stay on the field for all three downs. However, in today's NFL, these types of RBs are few and far between. Beyond the McCaffrey's and Barkley's of the world, you can find RBs with potential bellcow workloads, but these middle tier RBs carry plenty of risk. Le'Veon Bell, Leonard Fournette, and Todd Gurley could all see huge workloads, but do any of them actually have top 5 upside? Are Chris Carson, Melvin Gordon and David Montgomery set to bust due to minimal pass-catching roles? We're breaking down the bellcow RBs who could struggle in 2020, including our top bust and value picks.

Also, coronavirus will have an impact on Fantasy Football, even if the season starts on time as expected. Shortened training camps, limited rookie mini camps and lack of in-person contact will make it tougher for rookies and newly-acquired players to make an immediate impact on the field. As a comparison, we analyzed the impact of the 2011 lockout on Fantasy Football performance. Only one rookie RB, Roy Helu, scored more than 150 PPR points that season!
